Paternally

From out of darkness
silence speaks,
the pounding of my heartbeat,
beats--
“Can you hear me?”
Can you hear the constant pounding
from deep inside
as solace cries
a universe of silent sighs...
The planets, galaxies, and stars
expanding still ‘til furthest,
far--
Yet, not space nor other dimension
shall ever separate us,
Paternally.
