But It Won't Stay

When songs are still in air,
everyone greets me.
They tell me how well I do,
encouraging by my side.

When the music stops,
the hall seems to be too spacious.
There are no more shadows,
for now it's time for night.
I pause to ponder what's passed,
standing all alone by myself.

Then, I realize
glamourous don't stay.
We all at some point
in our life share its beauty...
but it won't stay...
but it won't stay...

(giggles in delight over your comment) Oh Eliza, I couldn't agree with you more, I do not like the World Cup either, it actually upsets me! (sigh) You speak of the truth so well, but may we always look to find beauty in everything else, sweet friend, we all love you so much! Eliza,

I like the message in your poem that this (glamorous)too will pass. I've found that it's nice to be in the spot-light, but while I'm there it's quite apparent that the snipers have a much easier time taking aim. GOD bless and continued smiles. -Bob
