A Humble Song

The song I sing is meant to be
An aria of praise for Thee
And if the tune is lacking of
Great artistry, it's filled with love.
Sometimes I find that prayer alone
Does not achieve the vibrant tone
That I feel echoing inside
And so I let the growing tide
Of reverent notes, flow forth to say,
I come in thankfulness today,
For all You are and all You do
And for forgiving sinners too!
For knowing that You always hear
Each humble song, drift to Your ear.

Marge:  I'm so glad to hear that your feelings of reverence move you to sing also. I think sometimes it is the only way to truly express what you are feeling. Thanks for your lovely comments!

Such a wonderful morning awakening.
You always hear
Each humble song, drift to Your ear.

This makes the day so much more pleasant.

Thanks,
Melton
