The pure gold
of truth
woven in threads
of words.

Blessings in promises,
in rejoicing,
in miracles.

Stretched across ecru pages,
in black and red,
defying natural law,
creating the golden
worth of truth.

Recordings of faith,
etched in history’s plane.
Bleedings of sacrifice,
out of utmost,
eternal love.

My best friend
speaks to me,
through sages,
prophets,
parchment and
pigment.

He tells me
of His perfect love,
He shows me
His perfect will
and helps me
understand,
little by little,
who He
knows me to be,
in Him.

Christian friendship,
Christian fellowship
both begin
and end
with Him.

VAS,

The Book still speaks....Amen.  I like how you included a red letter portion in your poem.  GOD bless.  -Bob
