Shine!!!

If I were a bird,
I would sing to you
About the love of God,
That shines on me,
From above,
As I fly from tree to tree.
I'd sing about the joy I find,
Living in the light of God's love.

Shine your light on me, Oh Lord,
I want to sing your song.
And if I could, I'd teach the world,
To joyfully sing along.

But I'm not a bird, you see.
God made me what He wanted me to be.
I am His precious child,
Designed to shine His light,
Around the world, and I know,
That He will never leave me alone.

Shine your light on me,
Teach me your ways,
And I'll praise your name,
Until the end of days.

Do you know,
The love God has for you?
Do you care,
That Jesus died for each of us?
Reach out your hand,
Take your brother's in your own.
Do you love each other,
As Jesus asks us to?

Shine your light on me, Oh Lord,
I want to sing your song,
And if I could, I'd teach the world,
To joyfull sing along.
Shine your light on me
Teach me your ways.
And I'll praise Your Name
Until the end of days.

Cherish the good memories past and look forward to the adventure called Tomorrow.
But above all... be kind to yourself today.

Magicmystery,

Oh, the chorus of spring certainly has inspired your heart today with lovely praises unto GOD...  Maybe not a bird, but your words sing through your poetry here.  GOD bless you and may His Light continue Sister to shine ever-so-brightly for Him in your heart, soul, and mind. Again, wonderful expressions of praise demonstared here.  -Bob

(smiles) YAY!!! Yes, may we all reach out to Him and forever praise His name and ask for His guidance and we will all find the light our loving hearts need so much to show us the way! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, you are no bird, but you are a beautiful friend to us all with a heart that sings like a sparrow of loves song! We all love you so much, Amen! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sherry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Ah...and sing sweetly you do too my friend.
For I have heard your voice and it is like the song of a bird.
Beautiful poem with uplifting thoughts here Sherry.

Thanks for sharing this with me. It's like it's been whispered in my ear.
