The sunrise is aflame
with promise,
that this one day
is all,
there is no other.

This one perfect day
has just begun..

with choices...

The choice to walk
with You, my Lord.
To believe and hope,
in all You promise.

Each moment a treasure
of learning,
and growing.

Spiritual eyes wide open,
so as not to miss
one gift,
or one opportunity
to love,
to be kind,
therby
becoming,
one day at a time,
like You, my Lord!

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.
