I look for God up in the sky,
Within the clouds and everywhere.
I do not find Him, wondering why,
I'm told that He's residing there.

I wander down a lonely path
And look in every crack and nook.
Am I the victim of God's wrath?
I feel alone and so forsook.

Wearied, I find my way back home.
At dawn I'll get an early start.
Perhaps He's in the big sea's foam.
But lo, He's right here in my heart.

I fall to my knees to thank Him,
That he has shown Himself to me.
My cup is filled up to the brim.
I have Him under lock and key.

Very beautiful, Joyce. Although I doubt that you can keep Him locked up very long, LOL...
But you need not worry, He's not going anywhere. He loves you!

Joyce, I'm so glad you located Him in your heart....however

I believe He shows us that when we try to lock Him up, bind Him in any way, we are really only binding ourselves and the blessings we might receive.

He cannot be bound, it is more that we lock away our receiving. There's my sermon for today...I think.

As I well know from your earlier posts, GOD is right where you are. Not even being locked in by snow can separate you two... Again, I do love reading about your adventures in Christ. GOD bless you my dear poet friend and may the Lord continue to warm your heart throughout the remaining winter season.
