Queen of Sheba

She was a queen, there was no doubt.
She heard the stories all about,
Of Solomon, a mighty king,
Whose wisdom was a famous thing.

Many questions filled her heart,
So she told her staff to start
Amassing treasures, camels too
And from her stores, great wealth she drew.

The royal train of beasts and men
Stretched off into the distance when
She started out to travel far
In search of answers, above par!

She was so pleasantly surprised
To hear of what this king advised
And all the troubles that she lay
Before his throne, he helped allay.

Then finally, quite satisfied
That he spoke truth, with naught to hide,
She gifted him with spice and gold.
With precious gems, of worth untold.

She blessed Our Lord for His delight
In Solomon and blessed the sight
Of all his happy people there,
Who lived beneath the wise king's care.

With knowledge of the Lord above
And in her soul, a new-found love,
She returned to her home-ground,
To spread the way of life she'd found.

Trillium,

A wonderful Bible story teller are you and yes may we all do the same as dear Queen Sheba who told the Good News.  Again, thank you for sharing Sheba's story with us and GOD bless.

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.
