Night fingers timeless
in the twisted yearning
of keening shadows.
Red sand burning hot,
shifting shapes
with a Stone's reverie.

Wasn't there an empty
shroud found?
Nothing filling it; but stale air
~~~~~the Stone rolled away.
His Face gracing the glow
of Eternity.Keys rattling
against the black, tide of death.
Life held in His Hands,
in the life springing up from
~~~~~Salvation's well.

"He is risen!" proclaimed
with angelic guitars,
cherubims voices.
The whole of Heaven
rejoicing, praising
the wondrous Lamb of God,
beauteous Morning Star,
~~~~~Glory of all glories.
Thank you, Ivy, for this beautiful reminder that Christ has risen. He is alive showing us all that we, too, can defeat death.
