Deep in the heart

Oh Holy Spirit
indwelling and fulfilling
renewing my soul

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

Yes, and it is through the infilling of his spirit that we
are renewed and changed into power from something
as dust on the ground, we begin to breathe and sing
and live redeemed in his glory and we give him all
the praise for without his spirit we are nothing.

Interloper, this is by far the most beautiful Haiku that I have every read. As I read it I tingle with electricity. Praise the Lord! Thank you for sharing these inspired words with us.

Interloper...Now it is my turn to say what a magnificent poem you have written. You echo my heart's cry so expertly. We need to invite the Holy Spirit to dwell within.

Interloper, Thanks for such a lovely senyru with an inspirational message. I love my relationship with Christ but often I forget that His spirit resides within. I think of Him as my heavenly Father and yet He lives with me everyday. Cheryl

Perfect Senryu! You said all we need ever know, in just a few perfect words! Ellie
