From Heaven

A song will fall gently from heavenly skies
And dance in the wetness of dark pensive eyes
A phrase of enchantment from angels is wrought
And sings on the wings of a beautiful thought

It’s a muse who has claimed to have carried each word
Of love’s sweetest sound that has never been heard
She sings to your essence, then drawing you near
Your hand writes the verse that you silently hear

They call her a muse, but the soft flowing song
To the innermost parts of a dreamer belong
A muse can inspire a poet in part
But the lyrical verses are born in the heart

A heart that is laden with life’s pain and bliss
Only God could have filled it with words such as this

(smiles) Yes, yes, the Muse is always the sweet voice of heavenly Love that He creates for all our hearts to cherish, and with this Muse, may we all hear her inspirations and with Loves pen quill sheer beauty of faith and the simplest pleasures straight from the heart of Heaven! (kiss on cheek) Sooooooooo beautiful, sweet friend, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Elizabeth, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Dear Elizabeth, As always, a beautiful poem. This is a sonnet, isn't it? Yes, without the heart, the muse is no good.

Elizabeth, very lovely writing and I do feel that poetry is as much a gift from God as any other talent people are blessed with. You are definately blessed.  Cheryl

Liz, this is poetry in perfection, as yours always are. Your muse and God's Grace fill your pen endlessly...Love, Ellie

Allow me to add my voice to the many others -a truly beautiful poem with so much "truth" in it.
