Walking Quietly from Grandmas house, “Shhhh”, the rustle of dew dropped leaves.
Scents of flowers and Elfin wooded dreams.

“Shhh, I say”, Listen, for ever closer we come.
Step silently, “Can you now hear the faerie drums?”

My heart pounds, my breath sounds
What lies beyond that faerie ground?

Closer and closer it seems.

For last night, I heard the Flute from the Stream.

Now again to hear the smooth smile in my ears.

Now I know why Grandmas always been happy here.

“Listen to me..” seems to say that sweet melody,

As the most hidden fawn, I near the edge beyond. I quickly look, and with a sudden gasp! I missed it! Long gone.

As I turn around, with eyes turned down. I move to walk away.

But to my surprise, with its magical eyes! I hear,

”Wait, cant you just stay a while and play?”
