A Christmas Prayer

Lord, shine for us a star above
Like the one above His manger.
Lord, sprinkle every heart with Love
and keep each child from danger.
Lord, watch o'er us by angels fare
as we seek His tender face.
Lord, help us show the gifts we bare
and wrap each one in Grace.
Lord, let Him smile upon our lives
with sweet Peace and loving Joy.
Lord, when Your blessings soon arrive
let us not forget Your Boy.

Oh, Bob, A truly magnificent prayer for Christmas! This fills my heart with joy!   Bless you, Ellie

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

This one would make an excellent prayer while being shared with family members during the beginning of the Christmas feast.

Bob, so timely and wise. Lovely to read as well. Though that's the norm for you. Cheryl
