Cherubs dust the heavens,
Sending down the glistening snow,
Watching angels come to life,
Each Christmas down below.
Sitting on their downy clouds,
They catch the prayers from earth,
Holding each one tightly ~
Knowing each one's worth.
Delicate wings will carry them
Off to where they'll be heard,
Over to the heavenly throne,
Where God will hear every word.
Nearing, they feel a gentle warmth,
They see sweet love on His face,
And they know each soul down on earth,
Will feel His awesome grace.
For they know God's timing is perfect,
And the answers ~ only He knows,
Surely they'll see His magnificence,
In the gently falling snows.
