Even though there's illness
that can't quite be found
I'm thankful for this day Lord
where blessings did abound

Bless each family member
Those who weren't near
The holiday of blessings,
in love we got to share

Bless those Lord less fortunate
The family members lost
The freedom that we live in
The precious lives it cost

For this peaceful night at home
the time for me to rest
The bountiful Thanksgiving
my husband who made it the BEST

Thank you Lord, even in my illness, for the many blessings you've bestowed upon me and the millions of others.

A heartfelt thankful piece.  I'm thankful you, Tim and family enjoyed the day even if you weren't with us and that you got some rest.  God bless.
Love,

Happy Thanksgiving.  I am thankful for your taking time to write this poem and for your sharing it with us.  Sorry that you are not feeling well and do pray that you will find comfort from whatever it is that is causing your illness... and we have joined you in your prayer for those who have lost loved ones in the recent tragedies.  God bless you and your family this Thanksgiving.  -Bob

I hope you feel better soon. Your poetry, as always, stirs the soul and heals the heart. Love and Huggles, Shawna
