hope you guys aren't getting sick of reading these yet. I was going to change the title, but I think that I will continue to use it until I change formats. It fits too well in my opinion.

Lord Jesus,
Please bless me today in all I accomplish
Let me walk in your path and fulfill my wish
I can’t follow the devil, it ain’t my style
Because your love has left me with an eternal smile
Even when I am down, my heart will still shine
Cause the rewards are endless, if I walk the straight line
The rhymes I write, are unworthy of the love I get
But times are tight, and these words are all I know to spit
When my vision is blurred, you’ve been my glasses
When my message is heard, I’ll praise your name to the masses
You died for my sins and accepted the lashes
You received the stones, you were nailed to the cross
It pains me each time that I think of our loss
But I know you’ll return lord, and I’ll be ready
Cause I finally see the path you’ve laid ahead of me
Twists and turns aside I will follow your path
So I can be one that escapes your wrath
For when you return, all those worthy will be saved
I want to be worthy, and not the devil’s slave
My life’s in your hands, I bow at your feet
You’re the only one in life I pray one day I’ll meet
Cause until I reach that day, my life won’t be complete
So I ask for your redemption
For sins I shall not mention
I have learned my lesson, next time I’ll pay attention
You opened my eyes and finally let me see
The devil’s hate, replaced by your love, now flows inside of me
And when I’m at your side in heaven, only then will I be free

Amen

Your prayer and acknowledgment of certain unmentionable sins seem very genuine in your poem....  What a blessing you have been given to look back on all that God has delivered you from.  What a blessing to live on this side of Calvary where the course of sin has been eternally broken.... What a blessing to be set free by the Spirit of your God Almighty.  Times of reflection give us wonderful times of rejoicing.  -Bob
