Someday this house will live again Someday the chandeliers will light up all the corners Someday the windows will gleam and sparkle Someday they'll be a warm glowing fire upon the hearth Someday this house will live again Someday the cobwebs will be brushed away Someday they'll be a new shine upon this place Someday they'll be laughter in the halls Someday music will ring from the rafters Someday this house will live again Someday they'll be dancing in the ballroom Banquet food will be in the kitchen They'll be room for all it's guests We'll enjoy the best of company The master will be in charge of all the rest Someday this house will stand in new splendor A wonderful sight to behold Energy efficient Functions all intact Architecturally sound Original blueprints given the designer's touch Someday this house you now gaze upon With sadness in your heart Longing the days it stood in curtained prime Will be instantly transformed In the twinkling of an eye Renewed to life again Someday this house will live again |
