Well, I'm sure there are going to be a few shocked people to see a post by me. Yes, after along time of no posts; I'm back. The military has, and is keeping me very busy since Sept. 11th. Anyway, I posted this like two years ago and I feel that it would be right for me to post it again, as we all strugle with our faith one time or another.

Path Of Life

Sitting here by myself,
Feeling cold and empty.
This solitude has caused me to fall.
I have fallen on my path of life.
Tripped and lost my way.

The pain I feel right now
Has hit me like a brick wall.
Why such an unbearable obstacle
Have you thrown in my way?
Would God block my path of life?

As time goes by,
I see his light.
I have been walking into a dark corner.
I turn and see...
God standing there
With his arm’s wide open.
Ready to embrace me with his love,
And show me how to walk back in the
LIGHT!

*~* Come work for the Lord. The work is hard, the hours are long and the pay is low. But the retirement benefits are out of this world. *~*

Jer, it's wonderful to have you back!
A lot has changed.

This one really spoke to me. Funny, as life changes how the same poem can bring on a whole different meaning.

God bless Jer. Hope you stay around for a long while!

This poem of yours is new to me, Jer as I have not seen anything from you before.  It is lovely in its insight.  Joyce

Sometimes I never question where God leads my mouse....

to treasures such as this.  A belated Welcome Home, Jer,

and thank you.  Not only for the poem, but for all you do in life.  Write again soon.
