Being Thankful Lord for the privilege of knowing You Your presence with me in everything I do Your Spirit’s leading in my life The calming of fear and strife I am thankful The blessings of my family and home No longer the desire and need to roam The sweet music I have the privilege to hear Looking forward to eternity without fear For these things I am thankful Freedom to worship as I please Not having to bow before an idol to appease The blessings of intercessory prayer Knowing there are others who really care I am indeed thankful The assessibility to Your precious Word The gospel shared and being heard A living faith growing with each year The hearts of believers I hold so dear For all these things I am thankful Written by, Wanda 11/7/01 |
