Deep Understanding

Sometimes it feels like star dust
Written across the sky
Just doesn't seem to be enough
For all my questions why?
Rainbows in my memories
Like multicolored dreams
Somehow never rise above
The darkness of my schemes.
As I contemplate on life
And all that I have been,
I'm most grateful for the Truth
That speaks to me within.

This poem is heartfelt.. these lines..
As I contemplate on life
And all that I have been,   ..have personal meeting to me as I have been doing alot of this lately.   I really like your poetry, I guess you know that by now.

Bob; I am most grateful for the Truth, too, that has touched and changed my life.  This was a heart warming poem and I enjoyed it very much.  Wanda

Very good poem.   I am grateful that the Holy Spirit brings us light even though it reveals our own darkness.  That's why the truth is a bitter sweet experience (until we are perfected)... but a blessing without price.

I can relate to this one as well, Bob.  You've written it well, my friend.

I wasn't sure where you were going with this one at first, but the ending brought it all together. Great job.
