Keep The Faith

Life dishes out hard times
when things never seem kind at all
it's at this moment faith comes...
gently paying us a call.

Do we reject the message
and runaway in despair
or keep the faith...
for there's power in prayer.

Shall we not pay attention
and hope it goes away
or face up to the hardships...
that have come to us today.

For trials of life
hold many things to be hard-earned
but those who are faithful...
shall not be concerned.

With each sigh we moan
and each tear shed
faith will replace...
all feelings of dread.

So, keep the faith
from the very start
lift up your eyes...
and open up your heart.
