Lord, Lift Us Now

~*Marge Tindal*~

Oh Lord, this day we come
in sorrowing tears to you
Seeking your strength
to get us through
These troubled days
lay heavy on our shoulders
Lift us now ...
somehow ...

Oh, Lord lift us now
in your divine love~

Give us the strength
that we may give to others
Lord, lift us now ...
show us how
to reaffirm our faith~

Marge:  Such a heart-felt plea and He will answer you.  There are so many now asking this same thing and I guess we have to be patient, dear friend.

A well written prayerful request with such wisdom to help us aid others.  Not only should we not forget the horrors, but we need to remember the beauty of unity and how priorities were put in proper order and hold to these.
Thank you,

I know that God is being lifted up all over America in prayer and I so believe as your poem implies that many who are down are being lifted up by the many prayers sent up to Him.  Truly, with the sorrow that the current events have provoked upon us all, we all need the prayers and lifting power that only God can give.  May God bless you and lift you up my friend.  -Bob
