God didn't set the minds aflame,
That conceived this unholy plot.
Evil only comes from Satan
Of Sacred Heaven it is not.

Cohorting with old Lucifer
They designed their corrupted plan.
They offered it up to Allah,
This foul obscenity from man.

Their God turned away in horror.
"I cannot make them understand,
Love is the message that I taught;
Love for people of every land".

"Forgive them Father, they know not
What very evil thing they do."
Good men cannot stand idly by
While these immoral dream come true.

Reluctantly we take up arms,
We people who love our free land.
With other nations helping us,
We resolutely take our stand.

We lift our heads and raise our flag,
Our exalted, red, white and blue.
The stars and stripes forever free.
God's with us and we're marching through.

I know that outright war seems inevitable, but I am still hoping that the Afghan people will turn totally against the Taliban and surrender bin Laden. It would save so many lives, both theirs and ours. Dreamer that I am!
