The Power of Your Words

Yes=Yes
No=No
or is it not
or, maybe so?
What are your words?
What power they hold
steadfast, sure,
strength of gold?

Your tongue through lips
two-edged sword?
cuts through teeth
with sharpened words?
Must an oath
prove you’re sincere
or has honesty
been shown quite clear?

Matt.5:33-37

Very good!  I look forward to your poems, written on Sunday's during or after church. Always an excellent message.
