The world is rocking
Not to the tune of a lullaby
Nor to the beat of rock and roll
Disconcerting hard rock reality vibes

The foundation is shaking
Our feet no longer dance
To the tunes of peace

The world spins cockeyed
Like a toy top out of control
As the earth shakes beneath it

Where is it going?
Where will the careening end?
Are we going to jump the curb?
Or will we stop suddenly
Wedged in the sidewalk's crack

I hear a voice that says
Be not afraid
When these things begin to come to pass
Look up your redemption draweth nigh

The creator has everything under his control
He knows the first and he knows the last
He's the Alpha and the Omega
The beginning and the end

I have not given you the spirit of fear
But of a sound mind and a sound body
Put on my breast plate of righteousness
For it is able to protect you
From all the evil wiles
Of the devil and his angels

Be strong and of good courage
God's will, will prevail

For if God be for us, who can be against us?

Are we putting the armor on?
