Time and Chance For Joshua, God made the sun Stand still for near a day, To help him thwart his enemies And drive them all away. For Hezekiah, He reversed The pathway of Old Sol To prove that what Isaiah said Was Gospel after all. Oh would that He had stopped the time Before the airplanes came To burst the towers of New York, That fell in smoke and flame. Before the lives of thousands died. Someone will have to pay. Before our dreams of peace and joy, In dust and ashes lay. He did not spare us this great pain. We do not understand, But surely He will give us strength To heal our grieving land! What a good heart you have. It seems we have to travel a long and crooked pathway over many obstacles to get to peace and unity. But it's the only path work taking. It is comforting to know that you are walking along that very same path. |

Midnitesun: Thanks for your nice comments. I am encouraged by the signs of unity that we see from the free world. Like everyone, I am waiting to see what the government decides to do in retaliation. At least they are taking time to make sure they have evidence to prove the people they are apprehending, are involved. Our world will never be the same. Betty Lou Hebert |

Marge: Oh, how I hope so too! The only ray of optimism I can find in this, is that perhaps it will unite our country and give us a re-birth of patriotism, that has been lacking for many years. Whatever happens I am praying it is God-directed! Betty Lou Hebert |
