John 14:5-6 (Sun. 8/26/01 poem from sermon) I Am the Way, the Truth, the Life Virginia Salter directions are given laid out quite clear though dimly we see-- one day face to face in prayer for discernment, we seek to understand with ears to hear, eyes to see, hands and feet to act, we wait we find we question, dumbfounded by the word, wondering if we’re hearing what we really think we heard we line up the steps with the map made by man, thoughts get all muddled anyway they can as we struggle with the muddle in a huddle or a heap we find. when in line with Him. joy puddles deep in our hearts, our spirits and our minds light, His light, as we let it, sparks the glow to flow © August 26, 2001 [This message has been edited by VAS (edited 08-26-2001).] |
