Everything seemed to be crashing down on me today, by chance (?) i stumble on this wonderful remider that He's still there...handling it all. I'm a big fan of rain, and it's symbolism in my faith...it seems like everytime i get to the end of my rope, and it's fraying...a storm happens through...and i go sit in the rain for a bit, and come inside feeling like my issues are gone. Your poem reminded me of that. |

Through the dryness of spirit, he draws us to despair of our own resources and then prayer (often painfully and slowly) begins then builds. These are the "vapors and clouds" that coalesce and bring in the rain of God to our thirsy spirits. very good poem. The same has been happening to me. Stephen. |
