A moment of spiritual awakening,
when the soul is beyond weary
of the burdens of control,
and fear and exquisite pain.

A decision is finally made.
A choice given and chosen.

To let go profoundly.

All out of sheer weariness
of carrying the burdens too long.

He has been waiting...

Gently

And as gentle as a mother
with her newborn babe...

All is taken...

A quiet freedom prevails,
and the soul wonders..
why it took so long.

His timing is perfect.

Now living in the moment,
without fear..
in quiet assurance...
of His Love!

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.
