Keeper Of The Flowers
~*Marge Tindal*~

When a flower has lived it's cycle
in our gardens here on earth
It is transplanted in Heaven
through the joy of rebirth

Now it blossoms full
in tender keep of love
by the Greatest Gardener
in the Heaven's above

He has gathered the petals
of the flower that you gave
And strewn them about as stars
in a bouquet of Heavenly array

~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~

There is always that touch of sadness when the blossom fades. Your lovely sentiment will stay with me now and I will see the garden with less regret, and the night sky with more appreciation. Thank you.

Marge:  I love the idea of this being the fate of flowers. Very lovely poem.

Thank you all so very much for your sweet replies.

I had a request from a Funeral Director to write a short piece that could be given to loved ones signifying the use of flowers laid on the casket as a reminder that they represent rebirth.

The flowers are a symbol of the soul who has gone to a far better garden to bloom again in His Kingdom.

I think perhaps it might be the destination of true flowers from the garden of life.

I appreciate knowing you enjoyed it.

Marge-
What lovely thoughts, and so tenderly penned.
You filled his request beautifully, my friend.

   Love and hugs,

Marge; this is so delightful! As all our soul's are lovely flowers in His garden of love! Ellie
