An Angel's Voice

'Amazing Grace'
i've heard the sound
an angel's voice
here on the ground

'Because He Lives'
you sing His praise
as in the distance
music plays

someday when
this life grows dim
and you go home
to live with Him

when Jesus meets you
face to face
He'll welcome you
with warm embrace

He'll say to you
with much admire
'won't you join
my angel choir?'

'you see, my child,
I've heard your song
and hoped to meet you
for so long'

'In The Garden'
it was you
who sang the words
that helped me through

and 'At The Cross'
i heard your voice
so sweet it made
my heart rejoice

'What A Friend'
I've found in you
ever faithful
ever true

'The Holy City'
is now your home
nevermore
you'll need to roam

~vlraynes

cindi...you truly have one of the most lovely
voices i've ever heard, and the fact that
you use it to praise the Lord, just
adds to its beauty.
i love you lots,
~vicky

I love how you incorporated so many wonderful hymns into your poetic dedication and  what a great honor it will be for your friend to have that invitation from the Lord one day to sing with the angels.  Thank you for sharing these kind words with us that I am sure blessed your friend as well.   Bob <><

Vicky~
Such a lovely, lovely tribute to the praise of Him through our voices.

How wonderful to have been so inspired by Cindi's singing.
What a blessing to have such a dear friend.

So happy I caught this gem!  May I send a copy of this to my niece who also sings beautifully? You incorporated the names of the hymns in so masterfully, I really didn't notice them until I saw the comment.  Then I reread to marvel at your talent.

Very lovely, and I enjoyed the song titles, their melodies echoed as I read it.

Vicky, what a wonderful tribute and blessing to a friend.

This was beautifully written!
How wonderful it is to be able to have an "angel's" voice to praise the Lord, and spread the message.
Reminds me of Jacki Velesquez. Christian singer, young, and a beautiful voice.
