No will, no strength
My body mourns
Events have passed
But mind it scorns

Thoughts a haze
Vision’s blurred
Where are my friends?
Their voice, a word?

Show your hand
That I can hold
Take me from
My thoughts that scold

Give me light
For which to strive
So once again
I’ll feel alive

Yes, when ever friends and loved ones are unreachable, God is still there.  Joyce

the voice of the lost
so fresh in my mind

Without vision, the people perish.

I do pray that God has answered your prayer and given to you a precious hand to hold....... Bob <><

Hello. Your poem is very soul searching. I do know that God didn't take the time to create a nobody. And someone does care. I admire you for reaching out in your writing. He is always there for you. Keep writing!
Sincerely
Rwood

Nice poem. God will surely send you that friend in your hour of need. We all need that reassurance once in a while.
