On Sundays, when the service starts,
We sing the hymns with open hearts.
With words of thanks, our voices raise
And offer Him our grateful praise.
We carry with us when we go,
A memory of the special glow
Created by the music there
And the love for Him we share.
Would that our hearts would always stay
As open as they are that day!

Sweet and lovely, Trillium.  That is what coming into the storehouse is for, gaining strength and joy to empower one to go forth through the coming week.  Well done!

I would double check the 2nd to last line, though.

Trillium,

This was very sweet.  The hymns are always my favorite part of the service.  What an opportunity to glorify Him in song and praise!  I enjoyed this very much!

BettyLou~
You've written another beauty from your heart.
Such wonderful inspiring thoughts -

'Would that our hearts would always stay
As open as they are that day!'

Amen !  You've expressed it so well.
To carry the joy we receive from Sunday services with us throughout the week ... that would be a true blessing to share.
