Sharon's Rose

Planted in lush pastures of Sharon,
Evidenced from above is a rose...
And He laughed with exuberant joy
When her fertile life Shiloh chose.

Ascending from rich soils of Sharon,
It's existence she has to impart...
For blooming free in salvation's grasp
Is a rose rooted in her heart.

Growing wild in the plains of Sharon,
Forevermore a rose will revive...
In fragrance of her Shepherd's calling
"Behold, 'Rose of Sharon' alive!"

Bob; This is so beautiful! i love the Songs of Solomon because they are a love song from God to us. The lovely rose opening and closing is delightful!  Love, Ellie
P.S. Just a little note to say thank you for all the wonderful replies you've given my poems.

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Bob,
You really have a way with words-- and an art to the presentation of your messages--I am so glad you are using them to encourage and uplift people for the LORD. God bless you, Keep up your beautiful labor of Love.
