The sleepless shadows rises from the streets
of this silent town
the smoke turns to stone
and falls to the ground
the greener grass doesn't excist when you're all alone

The sleepless shadows have painted
the sky deadly black
the sun
is disapering covered in blood
The cold breeze of the night
touches my hair

The sounds from sleepless shadows
makes me nervouse
I'm so scared that no one will hear me scream
no one will hear me cry my heart out
for that some one I love

This is a haunting poem.

I hope you find a true love that will bring some light to dispell the darkness.

Stephen.

hallucination,

I hear you!!!!  I know that I'm too old to hang out at teen poetry but I broke the rules and read many of your poems over there anyway.  You are a very mature, emotional and descriptive poet.  I believe it is true that the young men shall dream dreams.  I believe that you are given these dreams for a purpose.  I am confident that once she arrives into your life that you will totally understand that she was not just an hallucination but the woman of your dreams.

God Bless You My Friend,   Bob <><

"the smoke turns to stone
and falls to the ground"

that's a really great image; i have this fascination with imagery from smoke.  This is full of tenebrity, but i like it.  Keep posting!

How quickly smoke falls into stone when walled up in a prison of doubt. Your worth is accounted for within this universe...please...walk on the newly mowed grass and sit a spell. Shalom...Julian
