We live amidst the beauty of
a world created by God's love.
He thought about our every need,
yet often in our word or deed,
we fail to give the honor due
our Master Builder and a few
seem set upon a course in life
that thrives upon dissent and strife.
They do not treasure what He made,
or think about the price He paid,
that we may live to greet each day.
Another gift God sends our way.

The only section out of place,
so often seems the human race.
For everything is tied somehow
and anything we destroy now,
sends ripples through the natural world.
In some dim recess, there lies curled
the last element affected,
though it may go undetected.
Eventually, we've changed and marred
the very thing we all should guard
and God must weep to see how we
abuse His world of harmony!

Yes! Yes! We're such a wasteful, careless people.  Things aren't built to last like they used to be plus we like using so many disposable products and things to ease our lives (cleaners, hairsprays, etc.) that harm our enviroment.  You said it so well.  Thank you.   Rae

God built a perfect world.  We have failed miserably but I think we are slowly learning.  Yourpoem will help.  Love  Joyce

Trillium,

We are all interwoven, somehow it seems, into the (Lion King expression)..... "Circle of Life."  We are not alone...... (Nothing Sci-Fy intended.)   I really liked your idea expressed that each day is a gift from God.  So True.   Bob <><
