Hello

He lights the light, shows the way.
I wonder, where he is today?
Are they wrong, the words I say?
Perhaps I don’t’ know how to pray.
In time, he’ll get to know me more,
Give me the key to open the door.
I need a friend to carry my load.
I want his love on me bestowed.
Can you forgive, come into my heart?
I need you now to be a part.
I wonder if you really hear,
I sit in sadness, shed another tear.
Maybe I will try to say hello.
Will you hear, I don’t know?
Unanswered prayer, one of many,
Often give more answers than any.

Mysteria,

Seems to me that starting out a conversation with "hello" would be a great way to get reacquainted with a loved one.  Sometimes we can get so distant from those that we love that even a simple "hello" can feel miles away from our vocabulary.  I think God, perhaps, is waiting for a "hello" from many of us.  Thanks, Bob <><

Thank you for your poem.  There are many times when I have come to my Creator with just a simple hello because all my words wre choked up with emotions. Thank goodness for mercy and the prescious smile and hello and patience that HE expresses first that we are able to come with bended knees.

This is a beautiful, humble prayer and I think you have more faith than you realize. All you need know is that He loves you! Ellie

A true heart to speak to Him as you would a friend is all that's needed. All prayer is answered, sometimes the answer is just no.

Our Father will not give us something that would hurt us. Just like we as parents wouldn't give something to our children that would hurt them.

This was wonderful! Thank you for joining us.

This was a piece from the heart.  Haven't we all wondered from time to time, if God hears us, and worse yet, if He cares.  Of course, time always proves He does both.  This was so well done.  Hope to see more.

Oh my...I am so sorry I forgot to check back for any comments on this as really that day I wrote it obviously to one person only.  I do thank you all for your wonderful thoughts and comments, and each of you of course is correct in our intrepretation of what I wrote.  I do sometimes wonder if he hears, but then there I times I wonder...am I really listening?  Thank you all so much again for reading my simple little prayer.
