Shark Bait

Dark
Deep
Translucent
Bog
Concave
Absorbent
Like a black hole
No light
Reflection
Obtuse
Stare
Is to look
into the eye
of Hell
Gnashing
Teeth rip
Swirling Violently
Engaged
with Angry
Pursuit
  Blood scent
Excruciates
Decapitated
Torso
Swallowed
Whole
as Lifeless
Remains
Float to surface
Dead
...and so are we
in Satan's grip.

Er... quite powerful, not what I'm used to reading in Spiritual.  This one was a bit more negative than some... but this was a nice change, nonetheless.
I think the format was quite original.  Good job, Bob.

Wow, thought for a moment I was watching a gory movie!   Seriously, it is so like a shark bite or Satan's snare, as one is taken in more and more and more.  Very good!

What a chilling and gripping reminder.  Well done!

yeah, i just got to this after you responded to my piece "Wall of Damnation."  And this is very nice.  Very graphic and bloody, yet reasonably Alfred Hitchcock in a sense.
