Unchained Beauty
~*~

In the heart of the forest
shadows sleep on the edge of cool waters
as the sky unfolds
opening the windows of heaven
the breath of God stirs a kiss of gold
in the misty morn
where butterflies flutter their gossamer wings
sprinkling dew upon wildflowers
hummingbirds awaken to tender music in the air
as the rhythm intensifies
angel wings rush by
painting passion upon new flowers once dead
an unchained dance
of beauty embraces another day.

You have just made my day ever so beautiful by waking up to this most wondrous scene of God's glory in creation!

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

I like it.... a lot.  You organized the thought well and expressed the situation beautifully.  Such simplicity in the wonders of nature about... this is truly a magnificent piece.  I'll second WhtDove in that you should submit this!
