The God who has revealed Himself
Through His Word, the Holy Bible,
Is described in many ways--
Shows that He's without rivals.

He is "the Almighty God"
"The Everlasting Father,"
The one from whom all blessing flow
Who shatres with us Living Waters.

He is the epitomy of LOVE
Not far from man, His creation,
He is the "Just" and "Merciful One"
LORD of All, o'er every nation.

As Eternal, He is "the Ancient of Days"
As all-knowing --"the All-Wise God,"
The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords
"All Power" is that which He's got.

He is our Shield and our Rock
To us, "the God of all Comfort,"
The one with whom we have to do
"The God of Peace," it He affords!)

He is "Alpha and Omega"
The Beginning and the End,
He is the Loving, Redeeming One
Who seeks us to be His Friend.

He is both "Just" and "Merciful"
"Faithful" and "Holy" is He,
In Him, we have life and our being
Thus He is Everything to me!

No Better Place do I know
Than where Hearts knit as
one,
For in that grand
experience,
The Better ALL become.

God Bless us All!!!

Good job on this poem. I like the scheme of it, how it was all layed out. I also liked how you took well-known and biblical phrases and incorporated them into some of the stanzas. Very well done, quite original.

David,

God is so many things...
but what's amazing to me
is that we have this life
to prove God everything to be.

I am so glad that God is everything to you
because He makes all the difference in the world.   Bob <><

David; This is glorious! And I join you in that He is everything to me as well!

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

I enjoyed this, David. God has so many wonderful names! I am impressed that you are writing such nice poetry at such a difficult time.

David I think you've covered them all, and in a creative way too.

Glory be to God.
