God must have smiled, when there so high,
He hung a rainbow in the sky.
To reassure, assuage our fears.
We've been so blessed for all these years,
With God's own sign that He still cares
And is overseeing earth's affairs.
So when you see the storm clouds brew;
Remember God's sweet oath to you.
He'll send his bow in sweet accord;
Assuring that He keeps his word.

Joyce,

Oh, how I love rainbows. Seems God always has one in His pocket for me
whenever I get down on myself and I really need a reminder of His promises.

Really nice Joyce. I'm always looking for rainbows after a storm and think of what it means.

Wonderful...how I cherish seeing a rainbow, knowing His promises are ever true!

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Rainbows are reassuring and all are beautiful. But, have you ever seen a double rainbow? I have seen only one, but I'll never forget it.

When Whtdove lived in Colorado, I visited and we saw a few double rainbows that were so spectacular they brought tears of joy. Thank you for this lovely piece.

Mom you took my reply. LOL

Yep don't see those 'bow's' here often, but Colorado was a blessing. Almost everytime you got a double rainbow, bright and awesome to behold. What a beautiful promise to us.

Thank you for the beautiful reminders
