Thirty-eight Years Waiting

Thirty-eight years waiting
for Bethesda pools to turn
always anticipating
to be the first and learn
miracles can be true fact
whenever they're in season
faculties all in tact
healed beyond all reason
this man completely whole
by the mighty hand of God
who's restored his weary soul
by awesome grace applaud
standing here with the crowd
we watch the stars at night
with united voices proud
we're found within His light
declaring to all nations
that Jesus Christ is king
in joyful celebrations
we all join in and sing
there's a place of healings
where Jesus can be found
in waters stirred with feelings
that miracles abound
in our anticipation
of miracles today
we've met our expectation
when Jesus walks our way.

Ah, a biblical miracle! So many times when I think of healing miracles, I think back to those words I so often over read. "Be it according to your faith."

This is wonderful Bob!

and Jesus said to the man "do you want to be healed"...all He needs is our resounding "YES"! Challenge wonderfully met, Bob. Ellie

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Well done, enjoyed it!

A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes.

Great! Jesus told the woman by her belief she was healed. Thanks for this beauty.

This so much touched my heart. I feel like I could sing it, I truly do. Is it a song in your heart as well? How would you feel if I were able to sing it some time in church?
