I ask,
for no miracle tonight.
I have everything that I want.
Thank you Lord for my life.
Each breath,
I take is yours.
Your the splendor,
in my eyes.
As I write,
this little poem,
I see two miracles insight.
They're my children that you grant me,
Thank you Lord,
for the miracle of life.

A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes.

Oh, Walker, challenge well met and perfect in every way. These little ones He has given us are truly blessed miracles! Ellie

Walker this is beautiful! To realize how full your life truly is. To be able to count your blessings, and know the difference between 'need' and 'want.'

Remarkable!

I enjoyed your poem and your children are blessed that you view them as miracles. Too many people don't see theirs that way!

walker,

two little children, huh????
those are quite enough miracles
to keep a grown man busy for a day for sure!!!!

I know, I have two of my own at home to care for.

Nice thoughts, Bob <><

Indeed, you do have miracles...one is the realization that these things are miracles. It's so refreshing to have people counting their blessings, as it seem rather rare in our society although were saturated with them.
Thank you for sharing this.
