Though the night be dark and stormy,
and the thunder rolls in from the sea,
remember I am with you.

When lightning splits the erie dark,
and the wind howls in bitter agony,
remember that I love you.

As the rain pounds upon the roof,
an infinite army of trampling feet,
I hold you safe from harm.

For is not the wave of MY love
more powerful than the roiling sea,
a tender barrier against the flood?

Are not MY arms a safe haven,
a sturdy harbor for fragile ships,
against the blast of nature’s wrath?

Come to ME in time of need frightened child,
seek ME in the darkness of your soul,
for I am with you always unto eternity.
