Lord, my hands are so small
They never seem to reach an octave
They never seem to play the right key
No matter how hard I practice
I don't ever seem to get it right

Lord, I don't blame folks for not listening
The music I play is hard on the ears
Can't blame them if they don't want to hear

Lord do you want me to stop playing?
Do you want to give me something else to do?
How about singing lessons Lord?
I think that's a lost cause too..

What's that you're saying Lord?
My music is a sweet savor to your ears?
Lord are you hard of hearing?

What did you say Lord?
Make a joyful noise unto you?
Sing praises to your name?
Bring you a sacrifice of praise?
Will it be good enough Lord?
Yes dear, Stretching fingers grow

I love this! I am tone deaf, but I often think that He loves my singing because He knows that I love Him, and He loves everything about me!

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Songbird,
Yes, sing unto the Lord. GOD hears the song from your heart.

Song Bird

I so love singing with all my heart to the Lord!!!
the problem is though, I can't remember the words...

I am glad that God hears the music from our hearts
more than the words that come from our mouths...

God bless, Bob <><

This gives me a giggle. I'm sure He doesn't mind, as it's what comes from our heart that makes Him so proud.

It is the song in your heart that your singing to praise His name, and that's all that matters.

Don't give up quite so easy on that piano.
I play myself, though I'm quite rusty.
Practice, lots of it, helps!

Songbird, I have to say I have wondered about your name. I know the Lord loves our praise no matter how well we sing or play a musical instrument.
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord!
