Silence by charlie herring Silence Surrounding Confounding Alone Afraid Full of rage Hurt And hate Alone With Myself Alone with My thoughts Scared And Distrot Myself In this Madness Only to Find I am Lost Hidden Sin ridden I left God behind I want to go Back But I am Trapped This Culture of death Has a strangle Hold Round my neck Voices Growing louder I try to pray Sometimes I don't thank God for Unanswered prayers The voices Surrounding Confounding If I put A bullet In my brain Would it Make them Go away I fall down Screaming I HAVE SINNED someone says "It is finished" the voices Dissapper I stand Before The throne With Jesus By my side I start to cry No longer afraid No longer full of hate No longer And rage No longer... alone work like you don't need the money, dance like no one's watching, and love like you've never been hurt |

Life can get rough at times and it in those times we have to tie a knot and hang on. The way your poem is arranged reminds me of a rope or thread that a desparate person would hang onto. Your faith in God can be a very strong rope to hang onto. God bless you, sure glad that troubles usually have a way of working out, and we can usually say "and it came to pass". |
