I Got No Time

There's many times in each day
When he asks for me to play
And each time asked, I just say,
"I got no time..."

He tells me let go a bit,
Catch your breath, relax and sit,
And I'll show you what is it.
"I got no time..."

He implies sin will feel good,
Be the sinner that you could,
And don't do things that you should.
"I got no time..."

He says you deserve the best,
You work hard and need to rest,
And he puts me through the test.
"I got no time..."

For I'm busy every day
Helping others find The Way
And to Satan I just say,
"I got no time!"

Wonderful, Bob! This reminded me of a lively spiritual song!

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Glad to see you have time for the one who really deserves your time. He's the one who puts time to good use.. Thanks for your encouragement with my poems. Songbird
