Walking along this morning,
On this cold and wintry day,
I had so much to tell You,
But was unsure of what I should say.
As the pelting snowflakes swirled around,
And the bitter cold winds blew,
As I was chilled right to the core,
That's when I saw You.
Dressed in the warmth of white velvet,
As You stood in the pristine snow,
Reaching out for a warm embrace,
Surrounded by a soft glow.
Drifts piled up around us,
As we stood there under a pine,
And with Your oh, so gentle touch,
You took these burdens of mine.
And the wind that blew so fiercely,
Was now just a whispering breeze,
And snowflakes floated through the air,
As they danced to the ground with ease.
And as I walked back toward the house,
I knew that You had heard,
You had raised my spirits once again,
Though I had not spoken a word.
My heart was warmed, my faith renewed,
As I saw the love on Your face,
As together we stood in the blizzard,
And You filled my soul with Your grace.

You describe those loving protective arms so skillfully, I feel their warmth.

Thanks for the hug, Bonnie. His hugs are always so perfectly wonderful. Like your poetry is so lovely. Love, Ellie

I adore your walks with God as He speaks to your soul and touches your hand....  Your poetry brings God to life for me as I see Him through your words in human form. Once again, beautiful imagery you have displayed.  God Bless You, Bob <><

Bonnie~
How serenely lovely.
That is the comfort of finding Him, wherever we go.
Thanks for this portrait of a snowy morn melt.
