It is deep winter on the earth.
Deeper still this winter of my life,
for a coldness lays upon my dreams,
that have been broken and destroyed.
Yet I find myself clinging to you,
in ways I never have before.

Oh, Faith

The gift of this faith is all I have,
renewed moment to moment, day by day.
As this loss washes over my soul,
threatening to bury me in cold deep snow,
I hear Your quietly whispered assurance.
That as spring surely comes each year,
You will bring a new peace to my life,
and I will know the beauty of spring,
as I have never known it before.
As all is warmed and a rebirth is found
in the eternal promise of your Love.

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Knowing that you hold the faith in your heart I am sure that you will feel the warmth of spring everyday through "his" love for us. Beautiful write and so full of the
