Jesus in the wind
Today I stood outside admiring the view,
The trees were green, and gently swaying.
The sky, an intense shade of blue.
I felt the urge to begin praying, offering thanks to you.
The words came freely from my soul.
I didn't know they were there
Feelings rushing out of control
Telling you my every care
Then suddenly. a peace fell over me
my heart grew patiently silent
A warm gentle breeze kissed my cheek
It was Jesus in the wind.
As the breeze swirled around me
I could feel His gentle touch
And softly I heard Him speak
Telling me of His love.
I am as the wind,in my ways
I want you to understand,
Intense and fiercely felt some days
Calling on you to reach for my hand.
Gentle,soft,calm,and easy
When you need peace in your life
Lighthearted,simple, and breezy
When all is going right.
The downfall my child,to my despair
Is some will never see
Because they cannot see me there
They think I cannot be,
But as the wind, you cannot view
There is no doubt it is there
I am as the wind in this way too
They can feel me if they dare.
If they will allow me,the chance to come in
I will offer their soul protection
Let me wrap them in the wind
And show them my affection,
Each time you feel the breeze upon your face
And wrap you all about
Know I am with you in that place
And do not block me out.

Dear Kim; You are so gifted a poet! This beautiful analogy to the wind and his love, is exquisite. I feel His love so gently in every word you've written. Thank you.... Love, Ellie

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

This made me think of when I finally got my life back on the path God has set for me. His love blew over me just like a wind from heaven. I needed reminding of that time today.I'm so glad I read this!

Blessings,

As you know, the Spirit of God is reference to as being like the wind.  Yes, I also have felt the gentle breeze of God's Spirit even in a closed building as I was worshiping and praising God.....  He just comes, fills the room, and His presence is a softness beyond my expaination, but you have done very well.  Bob <><

WOW WOW WOW this is the most beautiful poem my eyes have ever seen. I could feel the wind as i was reading and i still feel it now across my face. I could see a person sitting on a hill with a tree behind them as the person wrote. Then the wind came and the person looked up because she felt GODS present. i could see the leaves twist around her as the sun peeped through the break of the clouds. And there she sat looking into the sky telling of all the thankful things in her life. And God was there to talk to her. And to know that God can speak to you if you truly desire to. I love this more then you know PLEASE PLESAE keep posting this is beautiful work and only through the hands of God could a person have ever written it.

This is SO amazing!  It is so true how we know the wind is there, even if we don't see it; the same applies to Jesus!  This is so wonderful and just quieted my heart.  God has blessed you!
God Bless and Keep Smiling
